In October 2022, I made the exiting journey up north to join the FABlab in Aberdeen. My general academic interests revolve around pollinator ecology, behaviour, and conservation. My research is focused on plant-pollinator interactions in sweet cherry orchards and their respective role in cherry pollination and fruit production. I am also interested in the effects pollination have on gene expression in plant tissues and how remote monitoring devices can increase pollinator observations during crucial monitoring periods.
